A coach helps clients to find their own solutions, by asking questions that give them insight into their situations. A coach holds a client accountable, so if a client agrees to a plan to achieve a goal, a coach will help motivate them to complete their plan.

A Coach helps someone to move from where they are now, to where they want to be, assisting them to do this more quickly and effectively than if they acted alone. I feel the role of a coach is to work with the client through discussion, with the help of tools and techniques to gain insight into their situation. Then create an action plan and work alongside them to focus on the positive change they want and motivate them to achieve their goals.

A Mentor is a guide normally working in the same field, who can help the mentee to find the right direction and who can help them to develop solutions to career issues. Mentors rely upon having had similar experiences to gain an empathy with the mentee and an understanding of their issues. Again an action plan would be created to address and work through situations.

An hourly rate is charged and each session can be 1 to 2 hours duration. Depending on your needs we tailor the number of sessions and duration to you.


Through discussion and with the help of tools and techniques I work with my client to support them to gain insight into themselves and their situation. Then we work together within the session to focus on the positive change that they are looking for. The focus on a goal can assist them to gain understanding of themselves. Overall targets can be worked towards and a desired goal can be achieved.

As a coach, I assist my clients to discover that inner strength, deal with the fears and doubts that stop them from going forward with life and take action to make their goals a reality. As a result, they feel confident, empowered and enthusiastic about what the future holds.


I have over 15 years experience of management in the fields of Education, Training and Customer Service, covering various management and leadership roles, the last six years at Director level of an International Education provider and Awarding Body. I have thoroughly enjoyed coaching and mentoring many members of staff,  colleagues and private clients throughout various stages and situations in their careers it has always been the most rewarding aspect of my role. I have qualifications in training and leadership and a Certificate in Personal Coaching from the Coaching Academy.
